The AI Orbit 2 is a premium, smart cross-flow (gyre-style) wavemaker pump created by AquaIllumination. It is engineered to generate a wide, laminar sheet of water that circles your aquarium. This action perfectly mimics natural ocean reef currents and keeps detritus suspended so your filtration system can easily remove it. [

  • Forward and Reverse Capabilities: Uniquely features fully reversible flow. Operating the pump in reverse creates highly turbulent, chaotic water movement that eliminates dead zones. 
  • Four Built-In Programming Modes: Configurable to Constant Speed (static streaming), Pulse (uniform high/low waves), Random (high-energy reef simulation), and Reverse. 
  • Versatile Placement: The slim, low-profile design allows it to be mounted horizontally or vertically along your glass wall. The directional cages on the rotors can be adjusted to angle the flow exactly where your corals need it.
Ecosystem & Wireless Control
The AI Orbit 2 functions without a physical control interface, relying entirely on smart wireless connectivity. Out of the box, it features native integration into the Mobius and myAI mobile apps via Bluetooth. If you run a Neptune Systems Apex aquarium controller, you can seamlessly connect the Orbit 2 using an MXM Module to orchestrate it alongside EcoTech Marine and other AI equipment.
