MarcoRocks Reef Saver Nano Shelf Dry Live Rock is the ideal aquascaping rock for adding big visual impact to small reef aquariums. With tons of naturally varying rock shapes and sizes, you can create the artistic aquascape you're dreaming of, even in a small space. Reef Saver Nano Shelf Rock has a elongated, flattened shape to the pieces, making it perfect for creating stepped or layered rockscape features like small archways or ledges. You can also use these flatted pieces as fillers or shims for gaps in larger rockscapes, and smaller pieces can easily be cemented together to form a secure structure.

MarcoRocks Reef Saver Nano Shelf Dry Live Rock, our environmentally friendly rock, works great for aquascaping. This rock is 100% free of nuisance algae and pests which can cause complete tank shut downs and is guaranteed to be free of apitasia, bubble algae, parasitic isopods, mantis shrimp, acro eating flat worms, little red bugs, fire worms, predatory nudibranchs, pyramidellid snails and other common pests. MarcoRocks Reef Saver rock comes in unique shapes that fit well together to make interesting and unique structures. Marco Rocks Reef Saver Nano Shelf Dry Live Rock arrives at our warehouse pre-soaked and rinsed through a no chemical cleaning method making it our most environmentally friendly and cleanest rock.

Note: We recommend curing all rock before being used in an established system.

How much rock do I need?

Knowing exactly how much Dry Live Rock you will need can be one of the hardest questions to answer since every tank and rock will be slightly different. As a general guideline for Reef Saver Nano Shelf Dry Live Rock, we suggest 3/4 to 1 pound of rock per gallon of display tank volume and may vary depending on your overall goal for the aquascape. We always recommend purchasing a little extra dry rock to ensure that you will have enough to complete the aquascape you are looking for, any extra rock can always be broken up and placed in your refugium, overflows, and sump for added filtration.
